The Ummed School Organises ‘Samanvay’ Annual Festival

Jodhpur: The Ummed School, located at Mata Ka Than, organised its two-day annual festival ‘Samanvay’, celebrating the spirit of cultural unity and diversity. The event featured vibrant performances by students, highlighting India’s rich cultural heritage through music, dance, and theatrical presentations.

The theme ‘Samanvay’, meaning coordination and harmony, brought together cultural expressions from North, South, East, and West India on one stage. Students delivered colourful and engaging performances that captivated the audience and reflected the country’s cultural richness.

The chief guest for the occasion was M. L. Garg, Inspector General, BSF. Addressing the gathering, Vishwajeet Singh Champawat, Head of the Governing Council, shared insights into the school’s achievements and upcoming initiatives. Chairperson Suman Kanwar Champawat applauded the students for their talent and dedication, encouraging them to pursue excellence beyond academics.

Senior students presented impactful acts combining dance, music, and drama, while junior students impressed the audience with themed performances based on ‘Fairytales’ and ‘Snow White’. The Ummed School Band added a musical highlight, enhancing the overall appeal of the programme.

Academic Head Rita Sisodia expressed gratitude to everyone involved in the successful execution of the event. Principal Ekta Baliya highlighted the school’s academic accomplishments and reiterated its commitment to the holistic development of students.
